Tent, Canvas & Awning Cleaner is a versatile cleaning solution that tackles dirt and grime on a variety of outdoor and automotive fabrics. It effectively cleans both synthetic and natural materials like cotton canvas, making it ideal for tents, awnings, boat covers, and even convertible car tops.

This powerful cleaner removes stubborn streaks, likely from mildew or road grime, and tackles algae growth that can form on awnings and tents exposed to damp environments.

After cleaning, you can treat your canvas with our Tent, Canvas & Awning Waterproofer to repel water, dirt & grime.

Tip:
For particularly stubborn grime or mildew spots, use a soft bristled brush in conjunction with the cleaner

  • Versatility: Cleans a variety of outdoor and automotive fabrics in one formula, saving you from needing multiple cleaning products.
  1. Set up your tent, awning, boat cover, or convertible top in a well-ventilated area. Remove any loose dirt or debris with a brush.
  2. Always test the cleaner on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first. This ensures the cleaner won't cause any unexpected discoloration.
  3. Using a soft sponge or brush, apply the cleaning solution to the canvas surface. For stubborn stains, gently agitate the area with the brush in conjunction with the cleaner.
  4. Rinse the entire cleaned area thoroughly with clean water to remove all cleaner residue. Allow the canvas to air dry completely before storing or using.

Tent, Canvas & Awning Waterproofer FAQ

Popular questions asked about Tent, Canvas & Awning Waterproofer

Reapplication frequency depends on usage and weather exposure. A good rule of thumb is to reapply after a season of heavy use or if water starts to soak into the fabric instead of beading up.

While it's suitable for most canvas and awning materials, it's always recommended to test on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility.

No, the fabric must be completely dry before application. Moisture can prevent the waterproofer from properly bonding to the fibres.

Some fabric may slightly darken. It's best to test on a hidden area to see if any colour change occurs before treating the entire piece.

Once the product dries completely, it's considered safe. However, it's always best to practice caution and keep pets and children away from the area during application and drying.
