Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLES) is a versatile anionic surfactant with exceptional foaming and cleansing properties, making it ideal for personal care and household cleaning products.

This clear to pale yellow liquid produces a stable foam that effectively removes dirt, grime, and oils, while being gentle on skin and surfaces.

SLES is soluble in water and organic solvents, and its low surface tension enhances wetting and spreading properties.

Its compatibility with other surfactants and additives makes it easy to formulate and customise products for a wide range of applications, including personal care, household cleaning, and industrial uses.

Key Usages For Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate:

  • Shampoos and conditioners: Helps to create a rich, creamy lather that effectively cleanses the hair and scalp, while also providing a gentle, non-irritating formula.
  • Body, face washes and soaps: Creates a luxurious, foamy texture that gently cleanses the skin, while also helping to emulsify and remove dirt, oil, and impurities.
  • Toothpastes: Helps to create a foam which aids in the distribution of fluoride and other ingredients.
  • Manufacturing: Used as a wetting agent, emulsifier, and foaming agent in textile processing, paper manufacturing and other industrial applications.
  • Cleaning Products: Creates a dense, foamy texture that effectively removes grease, food residue, and stains.
  • Cosmetics: Foaming agent, emulsifier, and wetting agent in cosmetics and other personal care products.

Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away open flames. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.

Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed information on safe handling, storage, and disposal of the product.
