Valet Chem Rust Remover (Eco-Friendly) is a safe and effective solution for removing unwanted rust. Our formula is free from solvents and does not contain any harmful acids or alkalis so you can have peace of mind that this is a safe and environmentally friendly solution for removing rust.

Valet Chem Eco-Friendly Rust Remover is used by conservators to restore metal tools, machinery, antiques and much more. This specialist Eco Rust Removing formula provides professional results without any harmful chemicals. The corrosion treatment is a simple and easy process with impressive results.

Our Eco-Friendly Rust Remover can be used by soaking the affected metal items in a vat of the solution, alternatively you can soak paper towels in the solution and place them onto the metal and leave to soak as required. Once the Eco-Friendly Rust Remover has had time to tackle the corrosion you will notice the liquid changing colour. This iron oxide solution is biodegradable and can be a beneficial fertiliser for treating lawns. When used in the correct dosage it can help grass photosynthesise (Too much iron oxide can cause burning)

  1. Wear gloves to prevent skin irritation
  2. Brush off any loose dirt from the metal to reduce contaminating the solution
  3. Pour the Eco-Friendly Rust Remover into a container/vat large enough to soak the rusted metal object that you need to restore.
  4. Soak the object in the Eco Rust Removing solution for a little as one hour or up to 24hrs
    depending on the severity of the corrosion and the type of metal you’re treating.
  5. Agitate the metal with a brush to remove any loose rust then wash away with water
  6. Store and reuse Eco Rust Remover for next restoration project.
  7. Can be used to treat rust contamination in fuel tanks or other metal containers.
  8. Simply fill vessel with Eco Rust Remover and shake every now and then to accelerate the process.

All Valet-Chem orders are shipped via a palletised service at a fixed cost.
We charge a fixed fee of £50.00 (ex VAT) per delivery. The quantity of products in the order or the number of pallets doesn't matter, our fixed cost is the same for a single pallet order as it is for a multi-pallet order or a hazardous pallet order.

Please ensure you have the facility at your delivery location to unload palletised orders yourself. If you require a delivery vehicle with a tail lift, please get in touch before your order has shipped. Note: There may be an additional charge for this.
