Acetone is an essential product used by nail artists and technicians in the beauty industry. Acetone can be used to prep the nail by temporarily dehydrating the nail before applying a base coat. It is also used in the soaking off process to remove acrylic nails and nail polish. Although acetone is suitable for cosmetic usages it is important that professionals handle this product with care.

Acetone is a strong solvent cleaner that evaporates after use which means it doesn’t leave behind any residue. It is capable of dissolving tough sticky marks and removing ink stains. Valet-Chem Acetone is suitable for use on surfaces such as metal, resin, glass wood etc. It’s also used by chemists for Chromatography.

Acetone is also used as a thinner, some oil based paints can be particularly difficult to apply but when combined with acetone you can change the viscosity making the application process easier. It also helps the procedure of removing paint from decorating equipment such as wooden brushes. Please be aware Acetone can dissolve certain plastics.

All Valet-Chem orders are shipped via a palletised service at a fixed cost.
We charge a fixed fee of £50.00 (ex VAT) per delivery. The quantity of products in the order or the number of pallets doesn't matter, our fixed cost is the same for a single pallet order as it is for a multi-pallet order or a hazardous pallet order.

Please ensure you have the facility at your delivery location to unload palletised orders yourself. If you require a delivery vehicle with a tail lift, please get in touch before your order has shipped. Note: There may be an additional charge for this.
