Grit Guard

Valet-Chem Grit Guard acts as a protective barrier. This high quality plastic grate comes with four slimline feet measuring 6.5cm in length. Once the feet are mounted to the Grit Guard it can be positioned at the bottom of the bucket. The space below the grate becomes a collection zone for unwanted contaminants such as grit and other potentially damaging dirt.

When your dirty wash mitt is placed inside the bucket of soapy cleaning solution it should release all of the micro contaminants that have collected in the fibres. Naturally any coarse grains of sand/dirt will gravitate to the bottom of the bucket becoming trapped beneath the Grit Guard. The spherical design and even distribution of the grate structure helps prevent the loose dirt from recirculating in the bucket, which reduces the risk of scratching your paintwork. We recommend using the two bucket method whilst cleaning your car.

Our Grit Guard is compatible with The Valet-Chem Wash Bucket and other cleaning buckets with a base diameter of 238mm.

Tip:Wash the Grit Guard after use. Feet are easily detachable and will help save room for storing after use.
