Deionised water, also known as demineralised water, distilled or DI water, is a purified water that has had its mineral ions removed through a process of deionisation.

This process involves exchanging ions in the water with hydrogen and hydroxide ions, resulting in water that is highly pure and free from dissolved solids.

Valet-Chem de-ionised water is perfect for use in lead acid batteries, engine cooling systems, irons, steam cleaners, lava lamps, air conditioning units & more. Using de-ionised water helps reduce scale which can cause damage.
