Valet-Chem concrete floor cleaner is a powerful solution designed for daily maintenance and deep cleaning of concrete surfaces. Its unique formula effectively cuts through dirt, grease, oil, and grime without harming the finish, even on high-polished concrete floors. This makes it ideal for use in homes, garages, basements, and commercial settings.

The concentrated formula allows for dilution based on the cleaning needs. For daily maintenance, a 1:4 dilution with water is sufficient to remove dust and light dirt. Tougher jobs like tackling grease stains or built-up grime may require a stronger concentration.

Unlike some cleaners that lose potency in mineral-heavy water, this formula maintains its strength, ensuring a consistent cleaning experience regardless of your water conditions. This makes it a reliable choice for users in all regions.

Tip:
For streak-free drying, after cleaning your polished concrete floor, do a final sweep with the squeegee to remove any leftover cleaning solution

Key Features:

  • All Types of Concrete: This concrete floor cleaner tackles daily wear and tear without compromising shine. Safe for even the most high-polished concrete.
  • Tailored Clean: Our concentrated formula allows for dilution based on the cleaning needs.
  • Hard Water: This formula cuts through dirt and grime effectively, regardless of mineral content in your water.
  1. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling the cleaner.
  2. Always check a small, inconspicuous area of your concrete floor to ensure the cleaner doesn't cause discoloration.

Preparing the Cleaning Solution:

  1. The key to effective cleaning lies in dilution. This concentrated formula allows you to adjust the cleaning strength based on the level of dirt.

Light Dirt: For daily maintenance cleaning of dirt and light grime, dilute the cleaner 1 part to 4 parts water.

Heavy-Duty Cleaning: For tackling tougher jobs like grease stains or built-up grime, increase the concentration to a 1:2 dilution.
  2. Fill a bucket with clean water. Add the measured amount of concrete floor cleaner and stir gently to ensure proper mixing.

Cleaning Your Concrete Floors:

  1. Spread the Solution: Using a sponge or a clean scrub mop, spread the diluted cleaning solution evenly over the dirty concrete surface.
  2. Allow the solution to sit on the surface for 1 to 5 minutes. This dwell time allows the cleaner to break down dirt and grime for easier removal.
  3. For excessively dirty areas or stubborn stains, use a scrubbing machine equipped with a soft bristle brush attachment. Alternatively, you can use a stiff-bristled hand brush, but avoid using a wire brush as it can burn and damage the concrete surface.
  4. After scrubbing or allowing the solution to dwell, use a squeegee to collect the dirty solution and debris. Transfer the collected solution to a separate bucket, wet vacuum, or mop for disposal.

Rinsing:

  1. Use clean water and a mop to remove any remaining cleaning solution residue.

Drying:

  1. Allow the cleaned concrete floor to air dry completely before walking on it or replacing rugs.

Concrete Floor Cleaner FAQ

Popular questions asked about Concrete Floor Cleaner

Absolutely! This formula is gentle yet effective, specifically designed not to dull the shine of even the most polished concrete floors.

It depends on the level of dirt! For daily cleaning of dirt and light grime, a 1:4 dilution (cleaner to water) is perfect. For tougher jobs like grease or built-up grime, a stronger 1:2 dilution will tackle the mess effectively.

It is generally not necessary to use a pressure washer with Concrete Cleaner, application with a brush or mop is sufficient.
